Principal/Coordinator Primary Years Programme

The International School of Helsingborg is a public, non-fee paying school in the South of Sweden which follows both the Swedish curriculum and is authorised and evaluated to follow all three IB programs - PYP, MYP, and DP. The school has 350 students in preschool - grade 10, 100 students in the Diploma Programme and about 60 employees. The students of ISH come from many different cultures and the staff work, in an environment of mutual respect, to create an internationally recognized education. We seek to develop the academic and social potential of our students, preparing each of them for a successful role in the global community, through a holistic curriculum which encourages international awareness and understanding. ARBETSUPPGIFTER As principal for your program, you will: . be the educational and administrative leader of the school with a demonstrable commitment to excellence in all aspects of professional life. . work collaboratively with the other principals to assure the successful continuum of the education and administration, including budget issues, at the International School of Helsingborg, Sweden. KVALIFIKATIONER * As principal for your program, you have to possess strong public relations and communication skills in order to represent the school internally, within the school leadership team and within the broader community. * An understanding of the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) is essential. * Knowledge of Swedish is beneficial but not a requirement.
