Mölnlycke Health Care is a world leading manufacturer of single-use surgical and wound care products and services for the professional health care sector.The Wound Care division offers gentle and effective wound healing and provides a range of unique products based on a patented soft silicone technology, Safetac®: e.g.Mepilex® and Mepitel®, together with surgical, absorbent and fixation dressings, e.g.Mepore ®.The assortment also has supplementary portfolios in compression, dermatology and orthopedics, as well as a product for hard-to-heal wounds, Xelma®, extracellular matrix protein.Mölnlycke Health Care started operations as an independent company in 1998 and was acquired from Apax Partners by Investor in January 2007.The company has about 5750 employees and manufacturing plants in Belgium, the Czech Republic, Finland, Malaysia, Thailand and the U.K. Procurement Manager Mölnlycke Health Care Wound Care Division In this role you are overall responsible for some of the contract manufacturing suppliers and partners, and will manage these from a strategic perspective.In addition you are expected to proactively initiate and drive improvement programs together with the partners.You are also expected to perform benchmark activities in order to find potential suppliers globally. You will be a vital part of the Procurement Wound Care department and you will report to the Procurement Director of the Wound Care Division.In your daily work you are part of a cross functional team, as well as participating in product development projects. The role will be based at HQ in Gothenburg.You will probably travel around 80 days per year. Background & Qualifications The key elements in your personal profile are to . be both result and goal oriented . have a strong drive to develop and maintain business relationships . be non-prestigious . be curious about people and cultures .be excellent in communication and networking.You should have at least 5 years international experience, preferably in the health care market.Most likely you have experiences from procurement but also a background from supply chain, business development or sales could be of interest.
