Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

You will be a part of the department at Business Control at Cmmercial Operations (CO) where we focus on procurement and finance processes in our Business Units across the world. Our role is to ensure that CO companies employ standardised processes for procurement and finance & accounting (F&A) designed to be high-performing and resource efficient.

The department is deeply involved in the ongoing roll-out of Microsoft Dynamics 365, an ERP system that will be standard across all CO markets. Here you will be a key stakeholder in setting standards, providing insight from a process perspective and act as a guardian for proper standard adherence.

In the role as Procurement Process Manager you will take active ownership for the definition, development and implementation of the Procurement standards.

Main responsibilities for the Procurement Process Manager includes:


• Develop and improve procurement processes aiming for automation and efficiency
• Develop deep knowledge in the key processes including understanding around the choices behind each process
• Develop a good knowledge and competence in the systems that CO will implement as standard in procurement related business processes
• Build a well-working collaboration with other stakeholders in central and regional functions, such as product owners, business analysts, purchasing and system users
• Support CO companies with process understanding and standard process adaption, sharing best practice
• Be a part of driving change management to ensure process standardization and to ensure that Commercial Operations benefits from the Dynamics 365 implementation

Your profile
The ideal candidate has:


• A bachelor degree within business, supply chain or equivalent
• At least 5 years of experience in the procurement field, preferably at a Business Unit
• A passion for processes that inspires better ways of working and a good understanding of the P2P process
• A good understanding of standardised work and streamlined processes and the business benefits it brings
• Ability to build confidence within CO as an important and accessible advisor in procurement matters
• A strong feeling and a clear preference for a structured way of working
• Fluent in both spoken and written English

Experience of process improvement work, knowledge of Commercial Operations procurement processes and/or Dynamics 365 is an advantage.
