We are looking for a new colleague to take on the position as Production Engineer at the Instrument Production department with experience of electronics production and mechanical assembly. Your main responsibility will be as a core team member in our new product development projects. Working closely with R&D to ensure manufacturability as well as to transfer new products in to serial production. As such, the role will require you to work closely together with our instrument manufacturer and with development of manufacturing equipment and production test.
Your responsibility
· Core team member in NPD and/or sustaining project
· Ensure manufacturability of new products
· Transfer new products in to serial production
· Develop production methods, equipment and tests
· Participate/lead risk management activities
· Process verification and validation
· Participate/lead kaizen events to e.g. improve quality, efficiency, etc


Qualifications
· B. Sc. in engineering – preferably in an electronic/mechanical combination, e.g. mechatronics
· Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
· Experience of project management
· Experience from manufacturing of electronic equipment
· Organized and ability to work independently
· Fluent English is required, Swedish is a merit
