Project Manager at Project Planning and Assurance group

Project Office within Volvo Technology Heavy Duty Vehicle Range organization, has the responsibility to secure a predictable launch of major truck product programs to our customers with teams both in Gothenburg and in Brazil. The driven and passionate team of Project Planning and Assurance are leading the planning work and managing quality assurance within our programs, in order to successfully meet the programs targets and secure launches.

We are now looking to strengthen the relationship to the Latin America market with a new colleague that has a strong drive and a genuine interest in program management and leadership. You have a strong connection to the Latin America truck market and products to support the Gothenburg project office in delivering high quality solutions to Latin America market. You will also be a bridge between the Gothenburg and Brazilian organization in developing new ways of working.

You are a well-organized person with clear communication skills. You realize the importance of great teamwork, like to take on a challenge, and you don’t like “loose ends”.

Core responsibilities:
· Secure the collaboration and knowledge with the Brazilian organization
· Securing the programs gates and end deliverables /milestones
· Follow up on program progress
· Defining, tracking, and leading activities concerning non conformances in the program work
· Creating and coordinating the Program Time Management Plan with alternative scenarios
· Leading the program risk management work and secure lessons learned

Required competences and experiences:
· At least 5 years of work experience in project management
· Experience in Intro-block and project management
· Experience in product development for Latin American market
· Experience in part securement for project builds
· Proven experience in high impact presentations
· Fluent in Portuguese and English
· Volvo Brazil stakeholder network
· Volvo Brazil specific product and market knowledge
· Volvo Brazil project environmental knowledge
