For this position we are looking for a responsible Quality Inspector who will be checking the quality of all incoming field returns. Our products are different control system units such as 800xA, Select I/O, Symphony Plus, Harmony as well as older systems.
Returned units need to be investigated to determine root cause of failure and this is done in close collaboration with R&D and our support team (L3). The work follows closely production procedures.
To be successful in this role, you should be familiar with various inspection techniques and have ability to act as an auditor for all our product identifying issues and recommending solutions.
In the role you will be reporting to Supply Quality Manager and as an ideal candidate you are expected to act as a firm advocate of quality in our business.


Your responsibilities
Read blueprints and instructions to comprehend the quality expectations for the product and supplies
Check products using appropriate methods (Visual inspection, testing functionality, comparing to specifications etc.)
Maintain records of testing, information and report to our quality system WATS
Create statistics on failures
Determine failures
Suggest solutions



Your background
Proven experience as quality inspector or a relevant role
A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach
Responsible and trustworthy working standards
Familiarity with functional and ICT testing
Thorough knowledge of quality control standards
Working knowledge of MS Office
Knowledge of IPC-A-610 EMS production
Solder skills with certification
Familiarity with circuit boards manufacturing processes to be able to identify/recognize deviations from e.g. SMT, THT wave soldering and hand soldering and familiarity with box build, is seen an advantage
