At ABB Robotics we develop, manufacture and market robotics solutions together with associated control systems, software, arc welding products, tracks and motor packages. Robotic solutions are used in many different areas within the automotive industry and are growing within the general industry (e.g. food industry and electronics) to create a more effective and automized production. The two main R&D and production sites are in Sweden and China, but collaboration will also be towards the sites in Germany, US and Norway.

Your responsibilities
Leading the Supply Chain integration in New Product Development Projects. Effective Project Management and its accountabilities constitute the fundament of this role with its targets in Product Quality, Cost, Time to Market and Innovation.
Planning and coordinating all Supply Chain activities in project execution.
Applying the Gate model process (SCM), monitoring material cost whereas also managing prototype and pre-series material planning.
Working in an environment with wide cross functional and international interactions.
Bridging, harmonizing and integrating Supply Chain capability for specific product architecture and technology pipeline.
Enabling the implementation of right quality, cost and performance from Suppliers in new product configurations.
Contributing to the decision-making processes, representing Supply Chain Management in product platform development governance forums, through interaction with key stakeholders of the New Product Development.
Leading a range of activities with strategic impact for the company. Driving Early Supplier Involvement; Make or Buy analysis; enabling strategic Suppliers introduction; planning and securing the development of Suppliers ecosystem in the early phases of technology development.

Your background
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in a relevant engineering or business discipline.
Experience in Project Management in industrial product development.
Experience in Product Development, Sourcing, Supplier relationship management, Supplier Quality are not required, but are beneficial.
Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of SAP.
Stakeholder’s management.
Experience in a global international industrial environment and matrix organization are seen as an advantage.
You have excellent communication and leadership skills, and a business-oriented mindset.
Fluency in English, written and spoken, is a must and that of Swedish and Chinese, is beneficial.
