What you will do
As our Senior Director Plant Engineering you will take ownership for the plant’s strategic work, plant facility management, plant central maintenance, plant project management and Launch of new vehicles. This means that you will plan, prioritize and help implement long term activities to close the gap from our present state to our ideal plant vision.

To do this in a successful way you will work cross functional and in collaboration with our colleagues in the development phase of our future products. By defining and understanding what is strategically important for the plant, you will influence and secure that future process changes and products are in line with our long term vision. You will also have close cooperation with our colleagues in the global manufacturing network.

To ensure that our long term vision is always present also in our daily business you will lead the development of the local engineering departments. Here you will take part of developing forecasts and analytical models for productivity improvements. You will help drive initiatives and follow how these activities improve our plant’s result towards your vision.  

Do you fit the profile?
To be successful in this job, you need several years of relevant management experience. You should have a strong interest in leadership and in developing people - you are highly successful in bringing out the best in others. You find energy and motivation in releasing people’s potential, allowing them to grow.

You might have a technical background, preferably with some hands on experience and an academic education. Previous experience from manufacturing and logistics and/or product development is a strong merit.

We know that you believe in the power of people. Good communication and cooperation skills are crucial to succeed in this role. With high integrity and professionalism you should be comfortable to lead in a constantly changing environment. You are curious, and you have an entrepreneurial approach and find ways to overcome challenges.
