About your job
In this position, you manage our services and products such as Application Operation, Certificate and APP-SQL Hotels. You support services such as certificate and Application Operation, where implementing customers’ application into SITS Application Operation Service is the focus area. An important part of this – to ensure successfully managed applications now and in the future – is analyzing and monitoring the performance of the applications, as well as suggesting and implementing improvements to ensure a continuous high quality on our services. You collaborate with solution architects, business relation managers and our sourcing department to effectively match business needs with technological capabilities and new market trends.
Other parts of your assignment:
Implementing databases and applications into SITS Application and Database Operation Service.
Analyzing and monitoring the performance of the applications, as well as suggesting and implementing improvements to ensure a continuous high quality of our services.
Ensuring operational stability and development including operational efficiency through automation of our most prioritized applications and platforms.
Troubleshooting and fixing various customer problems that arise in our daily environment.
Managing certificate services.

The location for this position is either at Sandbacka in Sandviken or at our new and modern office at Gasverket in Stockholm.
Your background and personality
We’re looking for someone with experience in database administration and broad knowledge of SQL. You have managed solutions, availability and storage options as well as setting up, operating and managing MS SQL databases on various platforms and clustered environments. We believe you have good experience in cloud solutions and in automation and scripting. Your knowledge in the area is backed by a degree within IT. We see it as beneficial if you have previously worked with MS analysis, integration and reporting services and have basic network knowledge and understanding of technical support. We’re located in Sweden but are working globally which calls for excellent communication skills in English.
You always think two steps ahead in creating good relations and supporting both stakeholders and colleagues. Working in a structured and timely manner comes naturally to you, and you use your drive and technical skills as tools for success.
