We are now looking for a specialist within Medical Affairs for an exciting consultant assignment.

In this position you'll provide expert medical support to the Northern Europe Area, to include: contributing to new product development (NPD) and launches, approval of promotional activities in accordance with relevant legislation and to assist in the provision of an accurate clinical and technical information service for the client's Ltd. products.

Main accountabilities:

• Provide medical review and approval of promotional materials and activities in accordance with applicable Codes of Practice and regulations, Company policy and any other relevant regulations with a focus on Swedish language materials and support for the local Nordic products and markets
• Actively contribute to the development of new claims for key brands
• Take the lead at cross-functional meetings, where required/appropriate
• Partner and collaborate with internal departments as appropriate e.g., Hub Marketing, Regulatory Affairs (UK/Ireland/Nordics), Customer Development, Shopper Marketing, Customer Services, and Commercial Activation Managers (Ireland/Nordics)
• Defend key claims upon challenge by competitor companies and challenge on competitor advertising as appropriate
• Assist in writing and amending SmPCs (Summaries of Product Characteristics), PILs (Patient Information Leaflets), label information and legal texts for promotional items (Sweden only).
• If required, help with producing written documents, such as umbrella branding statements to be submitted to regulatory agencies as required
• Liaise with 3rd party outsourcing agents to ensure that promotional copy approvals and medical information enquiries are handled efficiently, accurately and in a timely manner
• Provide a Medical Affairs service to in-house personnel (e.g., Regulatory, Marketing and Sales) for the company’s products in the Nordics
• Lead the development and evolution of processes and procedures e.g., SOPs / Working Practices
• Ensure external stakeholders are informed of any significant changes to SPCs or packaging and are notified of new product launches or discontinuations in a timely manner
• Populate and maintain in-house Medical Affairs systems (e.g., Core claims database)
• Create and roll out relevant training to internal colleagues (including the field sales force) as well as 3rd party outsourcing agents
• Identify department training needs and conduct relevant training where required
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on key industry issues and policies, including legislative changes, to provide relevant input

This position require fluency in Swedish and English. It's also important that you have a degree in Pharmacy or Life Science.
