Stillingsbeskrivelse:
Engineering manager is responsible for the co-ordination, planning and progress of all engineering in the project.

Engineering manager is responsible for aligning the engineering process with the regulations given in "Forskrift om sikkerhet, helse og arbeidsmiljø på bygge- og anleggsplasser (Byggherreforskriften)".

Engineering manager also hold the responsibility of:
- Define the scope and area of responsibility for each discipline leader.
- Ensure the planning process is conducted in accordance with the guidelines for the project.
- Coordinate the technical work and undergo verification of the technical solutions as well as lay-out solutions.
- Ensure that issues related to working environment is planned for and used during the engineering phase.
- Ensure that a document control plan is agreed with Client's organisation regarding commenting on or approving of documents.
- Ensure that inter discipline control of documents are performed.
Ensure that technical documents are produced, verified and approved according to the Quality plan in the project.
- Prepare the work for the procurement department.
- Ensure that all documents reach "as-built" status after hand-over of the plant..
- Establish and implement necessary procedures and instructions regarding the engineering process
