Senior R&D Engineer

To Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions and our division Stationary Crushing and Screening, we’re currently looking for an experienced Senior R&D Engineer. Your mission – developing world-class stone crushers
In this position, you’re involved in the whole process - from initial idea to finalized product where you contribute to developing products, processes, and methods. Acting as technical support for launched products means varied and flexible working days. This allows you to truly specialize yourself within the area, while having the freedom to plan your work independently. Aiming to always set industry standards, you’re genuinely interested in news and trends within the area, which you utilize to suggest future development opportunities and drive technological development. You use your in-depth knowledge of our products to achieve improvements in performance, cost and quality for our different machine types.
The position is based in Svedala, and some international travel to our customers is a natural part of your job.

Your character – motivated and open-minded
We’re looking for someone with a degree within a relevant area, or the equivalent experience gained from work. You have several years of experience in a similar role - preferably within the heavy industry segment and being involved in solution and development-oriented projects. You have independently managed and driven your own development projects. Having experience in using SolidWorks, Teamcenter, and AutoCAD is a plus. Acting in an international setting, you need great skills in English, both verbally and in writing, while skills in Swedish is an advantage.
You’re an open-minded, self-going and cooperative team player who sets ambitious targets, delivers on promises and follows through. You’re an inventive professional who sees opportunities in even the most obstructive problems. You thrive in an environment where you get to collaborate with others to reach goals and, with great communication skills, you easily connect and build long-lasting relationships with both stakeholders and customers.
