Vestas Northern and Central Europe is a sales business unit covering Scandinavia, UK, Ireland, Poland, the Baltics, Germany, Benelux as well as Eastern Europe and south of Africa. We are responsible for the Sales function, Project, Installation and Service of wind farms throughout these regions. We strive to be the No. 1 performing business unit within Vestas, and we aim to make Vestas North and Central Europe the best place to work. 
The service department of Vestas Sweden is responsible for the service and maintenance of primarily wind turbines in Sweden. The area is supervised by an Area Manager to whom the Senior Team Lead will report and as a Senior Team Lead you will be the immediate manager for a group of Team Leaders in the North region who are responsible for between 10-25 Service Technicians each. Responsibilities
As a Senior Team Lead you will be responsible for carrying out the company strategy in the North area. You will drive changes in your area in order to improve safety, financial results and employee and customer satisfaction. An ideal candidate for this position will be able to combine attention to detail with effective decision making with solid managerial skills. 
Furthermore, your responsibilities will include:
Execution of the company strategy within your area of responsibility by setting operational goals, assuring quality of work conducted and constantly looking for ways to optimise and improve on safety, quality, service and cost
Supervising and building a motivated and high performing team of Team Leaders in close collaboration with the Senior Team Leader for South Sweden
Analysis of operational and financial data, making necessary changes and improvements

 
Qualifications
Several years of proven people management experience, for instance of leading leaders
Experience of change management and performance management
Educational background is a requirement, but it doesn’t have to be within a technical field
Fluency in English is a requirement, good knowledge in Swedish or willingness to learn is an advantage 
IT skills that enable handling analytical work and making effective presentations
Experience from process improvement methodologies such as Lean, or a good willingness to learn

Additional information
For this role you can be based in fx Östersund, Umeå, Luleå, Sundsvall or Kiruna. The aim is to be located in North Sweden close to where most teams are located and not too far from an airport. 
Travelling about 30% per year is to be expected. During the first period you will be introduced by your colleague in South Sweden and the Area Manager.
