Power Solutions as one of Scania’s business areas, is on an impressive growth journey where successful relations with global Original Equipment Manufacturers within the industrial, marine and power generation segments have been key to success. Electrification is transforming the market and going forward, hybrid and fully electric solutions will be part of our offering alongside combustion engines. In order for us to be successful in selling electrified solutions we need to have a service network that is prepared and trained to give customers premium service. If you want to be part of a newly formed e-Mobility Solutions team and drive the  service business development for our e-mobility solutions offer then this role is for you!


Your role and responsibilities:


• Understand the service business potential and the service network readiness requirements for servicing electric power systems in our service network worldwide, including legal requirements in terms of safety, investments in tools, equipment and staff training.
• Identify what service tools, processes and systems we can utilise from today’s service of combustion engines as well as BEV vehicles and understand what is unique for servicing Power Solutions electric power systems and lead the work to develop new tools and processes if needed.
• Set our service network readiness market introduction plan and ensure that our distributors are trained and given the right pre-requisites to repair and maintain the products.
• Work closely with the e-mobility product managers at Power Solutions to understand what services should be part of our total offer to increase customer value. Take lead in the cross-functional work to develop and implement these services, one example of an interesting service could be leasing of batteries.
• To succeed you need to establish a close cooperation with several departments such as Parts and Services, Service Portfolio and Delivery, Service Information, Scania Academy, S&M e-mobility solutions and the Service team within Power Solutions.

• You are service-minded and have the customer in focus. Experience from working in an international environment and with service related business is considered a merit.
• The combination of commercial and technical knowledge is important in this role so 5-10 years of commercial and technical work experience is required.
• Have a university degree in engineering and/or business administration.
