Do you want to be part of simulating and calculating our products to give people around the globe a better indoor climate? Software to simulate Swegon’s products are a central part in designing optimal indoor climate and energy efficient building and you will play a key role in creating simulation models to fulfill the digital journey at Swegon.

About the position
We are seeking an ambitious and creative simulation and calculation engineer. You will drive the development of simulation models and calculations to support our selection software’s that supports different product ranges at Swegon. The role also includes to understand the physics of the products to be able to make correct modelling and calculations.

Areas of responsibility:


• Understand how to mathematically simulate and model the dynamics of Swegon products
• Translate mathematical models into simulation components
• Be part of implementing efficient executable software to model products as well as buildings
• Understand commercial energy building simulation programs such as IDA-ICE and Energy Plus
• Act as an integrated part of a bigger software development team
• Take part of national and international research projects related to building simulation
• Contribute with expertise in areas of simulation and integration to integrated simulation tools

Your profile
You are a professional with an overall understanding of application needs of a multinational business. You are communicative and you are experienced in the simulation and calculation area. You are a doer who can drive a development area independently.

Requirements:


• Master’s degree with emphasis on mathematics and engineering
• Experience with mathematical modeling and implementation in software such as Modelica and Matlab
• Energy and strong communication skills
• Good level of English
• Your personality is important. You need to be able to work independent as well as in teams.

Extra plus if you also have experience or knowledge from the following areas:


• Experience from software development in .NET C#, DevOps is a plus
• Experience from HVAC or thermal modeling is a plus
• Good level of Swedish
