About us
Nyköping Hospital is an emergency hospital with approximately 90,000 inhabitants in the admission area. The Intensive Care Unit (IVA) belongs to the Anesthesia Clinic, a clinic with approximately 140 employees that also includes a recovery ward, an operating room and a sterile center. The intensive care unit is a well-functioning department with a group of staff who have a lot of fun together and enjoy their work. We have been given an extended assignment and need more nurses. We are looking for you who are a trained specialist nurse in intensive care.
We are a general intensive care unit that cares for patients from all the clinics, ie. surgery / urology, medicine, orthopedics, psychiatry, gynecology and childbirth as well as children. There are 8 intensive care places where patients are distributed as needed and a recovery ward with ten places.
Working at IVA gives you a broad competence with a large knowledge base. With us, you get a long training when you start at the department so that you feel safe and welcome with us.
We are working to develop a more person-centered care and to expand our team with more paramedical specialties. We are implementing a partly new way of working with new routines that suit a more person-centered care. We are facing a very interesting and developing time.

Your work assignments
Intensive care of patients with varying diagnoses, of all ages. We work in teams with assistant nurses, anesthesiologists and paramedics. The service includes rotating towards UVA and working with pre- and postoperative care of patients who have undergone surgery of various kinds.
Your competence
You are a licensed nurse with specialist training in intensive care. Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities.
Form of employment
Permanent employment with access and employment rate according to agreement.
