To drive this process systematically Imint will create a business development team, as a part of the product management organization. All of Imint’s products and services are very high on technology which means that business development also by its very nature is high-tech.
The main objectives of the business development team is to create new growth opportunities within current or new verticals, new products, input for marketing and to create successful partnerships. The business development team will work with discovery, based on a backlog of concepts to validate (or invalidate) and systematically and efficiently move them forward. It is a hands-on team with a high drive and autonomy, and with high expectations. The concepts and the validation frequently involve working with external ecosystem partners, customers, resellers and internal resources and there is almost always a business as well as a technical aspect of every concept. The Technical Business Developer will work in a small team for the Product Management function, reporting to the CPO, but will have a high degree of autonomy and work together with other team members that are also involved in business development, e.g. marketing, partner management, sales, the CTO and R&D.
Responsibilities
Own the technical part of concept validation, working hands-on when needed or coordinating other parties when called for. This will include creating demos, labs and proof-of-concepts in the quickest way possible suitable to move the validation ahead.
Act as the technical expert when dealing with ecosystem partners, and drive an explorative technical dialogue forward in an account management fashion.
During trials of new concepts with customers, be technically responsible for the successful implementation and running of the trial / lab / demo.
Evaluate and select alternative external solutions when those are needed for a business concept.
Support other business development activities such as trade shows, customer presentations, value understanding and marketing.



Skills and experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Broad technical experience, primarily in software development, with video / image development and having worked close to hardware being a bonus.
Experience coordinating complex technical customer projects / deliveries.
A good listener and willingness to really understand the customer situation and needs. Strong curiosity in technology solutions.
A good presenter of complex technical solutions.
A strong business sense and the ability to apply it to all activities and goals.
The ability to easily connect with partners and customers, and be a driving force to ensure priority and relevance in working with Imint.
Account Management experience, i.e. perseverance and long term view, keeping and upholding partner communication, expand personal network, identify partner ambassadors and early adopters, etc.
Enjoy traveling frequently to speak with customers and partners.
Minimum 5-10 years work experience.
