Technical translator into English

There is therefore the need to strengthen the translation department at the office in Sundbyberg with a translator to translate into English, someone who wants to work in a dynamic environment with many international links. Following an initial introductory phase translation assignments will be offered on an ongoing basis, primarily technical automotive and engineering texts, for translation using various translation tools. This advertisement is primarily aimed at those who have just completed academic studies which have an orientation towards translation, and who have a strong technical interest. But those with translation experience from previous jobs are of course also welcome to apply. The work is carried out under the authority of the coordinator for the translation department, and it also involves a great deal of cooperation with the company's revisers and administrators with responsibility for production. It is assumed that the translator will have a very good understanding of French, as well as preferably some other source language such as Swedish or German, excellent stylistic ability in English, as well as good knowledge of programs in the Windows environment. As an individual, it is important to be accurate, fast and to have the ability to plan work schedules so that assignments can be delivered on time.
