At ABB in Malmö, we are 250 employees, of which about 30 work at our Repair center. We work to maintain, repair, upgrade and test ABB's products for our customers. If you are good at problem solving, programming and building electronic solutions theoretically and practically from scratch, this is the job for you! The role reports to the Technical Manager Repair Center Malmö. In this role, you work widely as a Test Development Engineer.
Your responsibilities
Construct and develop test equipment for our products
Perform functional tests, troubleshooting & repairs
Developing tests and having some programming experience in test applications f ex Flying Probe, Boundry Scan & LabView
Maintenance and repairs of Flying Probe
PC-maintenance
Backup management
Working with the Microsoft 365 application suite.
Hardware maintenance of older PCs
Maintenance of several generations of Windows Operative Systems
General IT-Support, transitory

Your background
Preferably academic education and/or sufficient knowledge to cover aforementioned.
Preferably prior experience in CAD-development, C#/C++ & ABB Distributed Control Systems (DCN)
Advanced knowledge within most of the Office 365 applications.
Preferably prior experience in SAP
Knowledge of Windows applications and operative systems
You’re a team player and can deal with hands-on tasks unhindered
You’re fluent in both English and Swedish
You have a technical interest, think holistically and are solution-oriented with a sense of accuracy
