Tools Programmer

Avalanche Studios, original creators and developers of the award winning Just Cause franchise is looking for an experienced and highly skilled Tools programmer to join our development team working on a well known license. [ Responsibilities: You will be responsible for the technical success of critical software components, drawing assistance from other programmers when necessary. You must be able to anticipate and overcome the technical hurdles and maximize the strengths specific to Avalanche Studios development tools and technologies. [ Required qualifications: . Outstanding math skills (linear algebra, trigonometry, matrix/quaternion math) . Fluency in C/C++ with strong multi-threaded programming skills . Strong software architecture skills . Prior experience working as a programmer on at least one previous game on current-gen consoles . Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team. . Self-motivation . Passion for playing and making games [ Desired qualifications: . Mathematics/computer science degree . Python knowledge. . A good knowledge of the inner working of MAX/MAYA/Motion Builder APIs. .
