Transport Manager

The Transport Manager is a member of the Transport team, which is part of the newly formed Global Demand & Supply Chain team and reports directly the head of Global Transport.

As our new Transport Manager you will be part of the Global Transport Team, with two other Transport Managers, and work in all steps of the process from request for quotation to implementation and management of new and existing agreements as well as financial reporting.

The area of responsibility for the Transport Team
.Global transport agreements: FCL, LCL air & sea, courir
.Pan European transport agreements: inbound/outbound European factories
.Northern/Eastern Europe transport agreements: port to warehouse, domestic distribution

The role is important in developing transport within Husqvarna and there will be great possibilities personal development and challenges.

Qualifications:
.Bachelors Degree in Business, Logistics, Production or related field
.Minimum of 8 years experience in international transport procurement & transport management
.Excellent ability to collaborate and negotiate with external transport providers
.Excellent ability to establish and maintain effective interpersonal working relationships with internal customers, external suppliers and fellow team members at all levels
.Great drive and target orientation
.Structured and analytical
.Solid verbal and written communication skills
.Fluent in Swedish and English
