The responsibility of the TRATON Technology Strategy & Planning Office is to create synergies across the TRATON brands in order to benefit our end customers as well as TRATON Group. This by coordinating the cross-brand work and collaboration within Technology Strategy & Planning, Alliance Management, Purchasing, Process & Methods and Production Network Strategy. The office, located in Södertälje Sweden, consists of experienced colleagues with various backgrounds with daily connections to TRATON’s brands and Alliance partners.


TRATON Technology Strategy & Planning office is now searching for a new colleague who finds it meaningful to collaborate with different parties in an international environment in order to build a successful team and support our TRATON Strategy to become a Global Champion in the commercial vehicle industry. We offer this opportunity as Technology Strategy Manager to the Technology Strategy Team. In this role, you will create long-term technology roadmaps, drive and build collaboration platforms as well as secure transfer of know-how in future technology within the TRATON Group. We offer this vacancy at the CTO Office in Södertälje, Sweden

THE JOB


• Drive cross-brand cooperation and forums within Research & Innovation
• Ensure transparency throughout the TRATON Group and other partners on Research & Innovation utilizing cross-brand forums such as innovation days
• Support the TRATON brands regarding external research and innovation cooperation and exploration for future technology partnerships
• Active aggregation point for group level technology, including scouting, foresight and analysis in the area of Software and Automation
• Responsible for technology roadmaps in the field of EE, Software and Automation to map, drive and develop the TRATON group Research & Innovation landscape

YOUR SKILLS


• We are looking for an innovative and passionate technology enthusiast, who wants to build Research & Innovation networks and create opportunities in transforming transportation
• You have very good knowledge within technology area of Software & Automation and enjoy future technology as you are about working with industry in change
• You enjoy working with people in an international environment creating collaboration through organizing and contributing to Research & Innovation forums
• As a person, we believe you are dedicated, ambitious and driven with a high level of integrity. You enjoy working in an international fast-paced environment and use your flexibility and creativity to manage various levels of challenges.
• Excellent English communication skills (both written and spoken) is required as you will have frequent contacts with TRATON colleagues globally
