We are looking for Function developer / owner

Position Description:
You will work in the team responsible for developing Vehicle functionality located in Lundby, Gothenburg. Our mission is to deliver world class products in the area of vehicle functionality where we are constantly challenged to provide the best solutions in terms of feature, quality and cost at the right time. You can look forward to an individual and inspiring assignment together with many enthusiastic and professional colleagues. You will in this role be the contact interface/responsible for your functions and have a large network cross-functionally and globally. We are a part of most development regardless of site, market and brand. Within the department we do also in-house develop the application software for our major ECUs. The group consists of 25 very skilled engineers and a satellite office.

Main responsibilities:
Collect, analyze and break-down high level product requirements to logics and electrical architecture requirements/design
Model the functionality of truck functions to explain the behavior of the electronics system
Single point of contact to stakeholders for technical issues
Requirement documentation in Volvos development tools
Root cause analyzing
Manage the release & quality securement process activities
Take part and/or lead reviews of requirement documents & specifications
Be present in all phases (AE -> maintenance)
Deliver according to committed QDCF (Quality, Delivery, Cost & Feature)

Required competencies & experience
Experience and knowledge in automotive industry process & requirement documentation
System & risk management perspective (dependability analysis and FMEA etc.)
Broad understanding of multi ECU electronics systems / distributed architecture
Broad experience within Electronics development in Automotive (and/or Telecom industry)
CanAlyzer experience is qualifying
Simulink modelling experience is highly qualifying
Fluent in English, spoken and written

Minimum Years of Experience Required:
Minimum 3 years of experience in the electronics area and preferably in the automotive industry

Minimum Education Required:
Master?s degree in in electronics-, software-, computer engineering (or similar)
