.NET Software Architect/Developer at the electrical department at Volvo GTT

Volvo Group Truck Technology are looking for engineers within Electrical & Electronics Engineering at the integration department

.NET Software Architect/Developer
As a .NET Architect / Developer you will work in a small team of highly motivated and experienced software engineers. The mission for the team is to support the test and verification organization with custom made applications.
The software team uses scrum as a software process. All code is written in C# .NET implementing the MVVM-light design pattern for WPF. Team deliveries are mostly applications communicating with external data sources such as MS SQL Server and the System Weaver platform, database design knowledge is therefore a must.

Key responsibilities:
Ownership of the architectural solutions for software produced by the team.
Monitoring that the given architectures are implemented correctly.
Ownership of a common code standard and govern that it is used in team.
Act as visionary and look into new development methodologies.
Mentor and guide team resources with specialist knowledge.

The major part of your work will be as a software developer. As a member of the scrum team you will analyse requirements and develop applications. Your daily work will be planned by the team leader.

Required Competences
M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering or recognized equivalent.
Fluent in written and spoken English
Expert knowledge in Software Architecture
Expert knowledge in C# .NET
Strong knowledge in the MVVM design pattern for WPF
Strong knowledge in database design
Good understanding of CAN and LIN communication
Understanding of Volvo tools and processes is a good merit
