The rapidly growing biotechnology company, Olink, are looking for a Webmaster who will be responsible for implementing, administering and maintaining a new web platform. If you have previous experience from a similar role and a good comprehensive understanding of modern website management including UX design, you may be the candidate we are looking for!

About the role
As Webmaster you will be involved in defining and implementing a new web platform with the goal to achieve significant growth in site traffic and conversion. You will be responsible for implementing the new web platform together with a team of consultants specialized in web development. During the first year there will be continuous upgrades to the platform to enable new functionality such as e-commerce. You will be working with the marketing and management teams to specify and prioritize these updates according to company goals. You will also be responsible for the overall web strategy to ensure a structure that is user friendly and supports the customer journey. You will also:

- Stay on top of best practices for web design and drive constant improvement of the site to achieve an excellent customer experience, drive conversion and performance tracking
- Drive SEM and SEO strategies to continuously improve site traffic
- Create a website style guide for cohesive design elements across all pages
- Create monthly reports on relevant site metrics
- Work with relevant resources to ensure web site and web server functionality and efficiency
- Optimize site loading speeds, web server functionality and other performance criteria
- Develop regional landing pages in local languages for selected geographies


Your background

The candidate we are looking for will have a BSc. or BA degree in Computer Science or another related field and previous experience as Webmaster or a similar role. A strong interest and understanding in how the web can be used to support customer journies, buyer personas and help to drive conversion and sales is essential and you should have hands-on competence in working with web content management systems and an understanding of UX design principles for optimal web page layout. To be successful in the role you will also have/be:

- Understanding of web analytics, SEO and SEM
- Familiar with current web standards and UX design principles
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Able to analyze traffic metrics and report on them
- Knowledge in HTML, CSS, Javascript and SQL
