Northvolt is looking for a Data Architect to join the Blueprint Team. In joining us, you will play an important part in the growth of Northvolt’s digital blueprint. Northvolt places great importance on rigid and optimized management (standardization, modularization, reusability, composability, and high quality) of engineering data and documents.

You will provide leadership and direction to engineering data management within Blueprint team and beyond. Your responsibilities, at first, will be to define how the data and documents will be stored, consumed, integrated, and managed by different stakeholders. It needs to be closely allied with the business strategy and architecture of Blueprint team. Second, you will own engineering standards, assess periodically their effectiveness and plan for improvements.

Other key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Collaborate with other Blueprint teams (Engineering, Construction, Layout and Operations, Delivery) to determine functional and non-functional requirements and help with data management

Maintaining of architecture and technical documentation, principles, standards, and guidelines for the Blueprint products and delivery of deliverables

Own, plan and coordinate the standards’ architecture and improvements

Successfully communicate all concepts and guidelines to relevant stakeholders


The person we are looking for has both bird’s-eye view and logical sanity—precisely knowing why we do what we do and be able to explain what is it that we’re trying to achieve. In addition, a continuous improvement mindset and skillset geared towards automation is highly desirable.

We believe that you have:


- Bachelor's degree in computer science, industrial engineering, or equivalent field
- 5+ years of “industrial grade” engineering data management
- Technical depth in data modelling and database design:
- Proficiency in Teamcenter environment highly desirable
- Experience with building visualization and BI platforms


- Excellent English written and oral skills
