As a Senior Scientist - Data Modelling and Informatics Specialist your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

-A degree-level education (or equivalent) in a relevant scientific discipline
-A working knowledge of the drug discovery and development process
-A detailed understanding of drug metabolism, pharmacokinetics
-An understanding of current principles and concepts in drug safety
-Data handling experience in a pharmaceutical setting
-Experience of modelling, simulation and data handling in a pharmaceutical setting
-Knowledge of PK/PD modelling techniques and best practices

As a Senior Scientist - Data Modelling and Informatics Specialist your main responsibilities will involve:

-Delivering key informatics and information science solutions to support data modelling
-Undertaking preclinical safety modelling and simulation, using defined modelling software and tools
-Working with information scientists to deliver scientific information platforms, database systems, processes, tools and techniques to solve scientific problems
-Providing specialised technical knowledge, interpreting in vitro and in vivo experimental data and solving problems
-Keeping up-to-date on scientific discoveries and advances and sharing relevant information
