About the job
In this position, you’re a key player in our communication planning, execution and in ensuring that the communication supports our business strategy, goals, purpose and core values. Creating brand pride and commitment is always on your agenda and by building yourself a good understanding of our current business situation you know what to prioritize to reach our set goals. In this managerial role you’re a critical part of the team to improve employee engagement throughout our organization – supporting our executive management in key projects and developing our corporate messaging platforms, both internal and external. A key part of the success is to work together with other communication experts across our decentralized organization and different businesses. You’re an active member of the Group Communication Management team and work continuously to develop our organization, collaboration foras and ways of working, ensuring operational excellence, a fair brand perception and an engaging communication.
As you’re responsible for the development and anchoring of designated policies, procedures and governance, you also take ownership of the common frameworks and supporting tools, such as “communication in change” and “communication in leadership”. You lead one of the three teams in the Group Communications and Sustainability function. Your team consist of communication and brand experts, and together with the entire Group Communications team you develop the digital platforms for communication, ensure appropriate brand governance and develop our brand position. You also support the Group functions in their communication. It’s safe to say that you will have the opportunity to contribute to a best-in-class communication across our entire company!
You report directly to the Executive Vice President & Head of Group Communications and Sustainability. The location for this position is Stockholm.
Your background and characteristics
We need a communication expert with broad skills. Extensive experience of internal and external communications is required, as well as a background in a managerial position. You have good skills and knowledge of branding, brand governance and marketing challenges and are able to manage industry experts and support brand development in the organization. You have excellent skills in stakeholder management and are able to engage on all levels of the organization. We believe that your knowledge is backed by a university degree in Communication or Journalism, or you have gained the equivalent knowledge from work or other education. Your expertise in communication channels, platforms and tools are perfect for this position and with your knowledge you’re able to leverage operational excellence and efficiency in communication – both internally and externally. Acting in a truly global company calls for excellent skills in English, both verbally and in writing, as a listed company in Stockholm, Swedish is beneficial.
With your strategic mindset and thorough way of working, you easily spot the important details in the bigger picture. You’re confident – both in your social skills and your knowledge – and you have no problem in making decisions and taking initiatives. The ability to plan, organize and prioritize your own work as well as the work of others in an efficient manner are great assets in this role. With an inclusive and honest leadership style, you steer your team towards finding innovative solutions helping us to make the shift and advance the world through engineering!
