Position The Drilling & Utility Systems Engineer will be a part of the Drilling and Utility Systems department and will be reporting to the Group Manager.The primary responsibilities will include: Design of marine and utility systems, P & ID development, prepares technical specification/data sheets.Development of piping and valve specifications for offshore applications, mainly marine service but in some cases also hydrocarbon process.Stress calculations.Flow calculations.Piping and equipment layout (normally in PDMS).Development of detail drawings.Systems engineering (P & ID development).Profile We are looking for a person that has a genuine interest in the offshore oil and gas industry.You should enjoy being involved in tackling technical challenges and problem solving in a team environment.The ideal candidate has qualifications and competencies which primarily include: Completion of a B.Sc.degree or similar in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture or similar.Up to six years relevant experience.Experience from PDMS is not a requirement but an advantage.Knowledge about piping design standards is not a requirement but an advantage.Communicates fluently in both English and Swedish.Future oriented with the ability to anticipate future trends and consequences accurately.Sets own challenging but realistic objectives and goals.Delivers a clear message verbally in group and one to one situations.Actively seeks and accepts feedback.Advises others by sharing own knowledge and experience with them.
