Marin Mätteknik AB was founded in 1976 and is now a world leading company in the area of high-resolution seafloor mapping.We employ a staff of 200 co-workers consisting of project managers, marine geologists, geophysicists, biologists, oceanographers, surveyors, engineers, technicians and sea crew.Our equipment in cutting-edge and we are constantly growing with more vessels, new commissions and more sophisticated equipment.Carried out turnover was in 2008 approximately 200 million SEK.

Description
Marine technicians who apply science, computer, and engineering skills to the design, maintenance and use of waterborne survey equipment, Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs).,LARS equipment in a marine laboratory and/ or onshore support facility, or in any number of other marine and coastal settings.Contribute and take a part of our construction of onshore workshops.
Tasks and Duties Operate and secure ROV operations and ROV equipment, survey equipment including acoustic positioning system, SONAR, robotic arms etc.on board MMT's fleet.Supervise the launch and recovery of ROVs/ Survey equipment.Perform preventative maintenance on equipment associated with an ROV / Survey.Utilize test and calibration equipment.Perform basic rigging and operate small boats.Perform basic electronic and hydraulic construction.Maintain technical documentation on all aspects of an ROV/ Survey equipment.Write post-mission (flight) reports when necessary.Evaluate and interpret environmental conditions for safety.Navigate ROV.
